Capricorn Golf Resort - The Rydges Capricorn Golf Resort, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, covers 22000 acres and has 36 holes of Championship golf. The resort reputedly also has the largest freshwater swimming pool in the Pacific. Pictured. "Kids loved it. The resort is fabulous and I certainly recommend it as somewhere away from the bustle of Surfers where golfers can really enjoy themselves".

Whakatane - In the Bay of Plenty, one of a number of townships giving access to the deepsea fishing grounds. Use Whakatane as a staging point to the golf courses of the district, from a true Links course at Ohope to great park layouts.
