The Venue - Westhaven Marina, under the view of the Sky Tower.
The competitor prepare for the start of racing - Cloudy - but offering a nice breeze.
No spectacular photos like my last couple of photo sessions.
I enjoy covering the regattas, and I hope I have created a good coverage
of the 2006 Regatta.
If you would like a print or copy of any of the photos, just email me at

The New Course - Colin Hickman 'K' leads Greg Stenbeck 'S' from Jack Bryant, around the
Start mark in the new format course, borrowed from the Orakei group.
All comments were heard to be supportive of the "Orakei" style course so it is likely
to be used again in the future.

A Picture - "Like a painted ship upon a painted ocean" . . .
I just like this photo, can you image this in a large format, framed, on the lounge
or den wall.
Click on the small picture to see a larger view
The full size photo file should be able to be blown up to a decent size, and with a little
tinkering with the colour and brightness . . .
With a bit of practice I could probably replace one of the boats with a picture of yours . . .
