The Ocean Race - Not many photos of the Sunday Ocean Race
. . . our saturday photographer was at work running the dinghy for Jeff Bullock, and I was trying to keep up with the front runners . . . and so I only picked up the camera after I had pulled out. . . . after trying 5 times . . . to round the third mark against the tide . . .
Ask my skipper, John Menzies. He will testify that I tried my best to get around the mark. John did a superb job for me, driving 'my' huge support boat around, at my whim, keeping it out of the way of the other competitors, while giving me the best view of my boat.
Thanks John, Greg S and team for a great weekend.
Here are some photos I did get on Sunday . . . after pulling out.

Paddling On - Nigel perseveres to be the last to complete the course . . . in fourth place - aided by the odd tin of beverage.
Only 4 boats finished this marathon racing - the winner took around 2 1/2 hours - Nigel taking more like 3 hours.

Last Shot - One for Nigel . . . I just thought this was a spectacular electron photo, to finish a spectacular weekend.
Well done Nigel to finish such a race . . . did the tinnies help . . . ?
