I think I am included . . . AUGUST is going to be FANTASTIC. Golfing wise, there is the 4th MAJOR, the 90th US PGA. No Tiger, but an improving Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh and ??? . . . who is going to win. . . . Other Sporting wise, you have to include the OLYMPIC GAMES . . . two odd weeks of full on sporting coverage. No Golf, but, there is yachting, my other sporting love. When it comes to yachting, there is Cowes Week, one of the top world yachting regattas sailed out of the Isle of Wight, UK. And also, The 2008 World Electron Championships in Auckland, New Zealand. . . . Then there is the World Rally Championship coming to NEW ZEALAND, all the Worlds best rally drivers, Down Under in little old New Zealand, at the bottom of the world. And also for those Kiwi petrol heads, there is our Scott Dixon, leading the Indy Car Championship, in the USA, with only a few races to go. . . . AND BACK to Golf . . . the FedEX Cup playoffs start with The Barclays on 21st August. . . . All 12 team members compete one on one against an opposition team member. Eazy to understand, this is standard Match Play, with a player winning the match when he is up by more holes than there is holes remaining to play. It can be decisive or pivotal with 12 points at stake. . . . DORMIE . . . you have heard this expression . . . Dormie is when a player is behind by the same number holes, as there are still to play. That player needs to win every hole from there on, to just half the game. . . .
