A very Rare event. Danny Lee not only won "a professional tournament" but did win the Annual Johnnie Walker Classic . . . And as the No 1 amateur in the world, having won the US Amateur Championship. Danny Lee not only won a serious International tournament, but came from a couple of shots behind with only a few holes to go, and held his composure to finish off the tournament with a terrific shot into the 18th green . . . and then a putt that could have easily gone in. Who was the last to do anything similar . . . Our congratulations to Danny Lee on a terrific WIN. . . . Now we recount that Tiger has returned to the PGA Tour after 8 odd months off recovering from an operation on his knee. You can take it, that he is in good physical condition, but, needs some tournament play in the lead up to the Masters. With two tournaments planned, do not discount Tiger at the Masters . . . he will be there. . . . Danny Lee is the youngest to WIN the US Amateur Championship, and the youngest to win a European Tour event. . . . On behalf of all New Zealand / Kiwi Golfers . . . I wish Danny the very best for his trip to AUGUSTA, his last tournament as an Amateur . . . I understand he will be playing with Tiger and . . . in the first two rounds . . . what an incredible opportunity for an 18 year old . . . and out of New Zealand.
