Three courses that will be hard to beat in 2010. Phil Mickelson made his first appearance, with a strong start still fell away over the weekend. Ernie Els made a good showing and could be the one to watch in 2010, and Robert Karlsson is showing out strong in Europe. *** SOMETHING TO WATCH 365 courses in 365 days . . . All in One Year !!! http://www.puregolf2010.com/ News has just come to hand about Two Young Kiwis are setting out to play 365 courses in 365 days all around the world. It is for a great cause http://www.thefirstteenz.org.nz/ Starting in New Zealand, they will have to play 6570 holes in 16 different countries, walking at least 2190 km. Amongst other things, they estimate they will lose 1480 balls between the two of them. They will obviously need some help on their journey, so I encourage you to contact them through their website, and please support ** The First Tee NZ ** project. The rating of courses was start in September 2009 and will continue through to the end of 2010. GoforGOLF is completely set up to use the US Slope Rating handicap system. All courses that have a slope rating have a Slope Rating Chart available on their GoforGOLF web page. Also, by selecting to use the Slope Rating System, your handicap index will automatically be converted to your "course handicap", and your stableford calculated using this. To use the Slope System, click 'Change your Details' option on the Green Menu and tick the . . . 'Use USGA Slope Rating for score entry' box. If you only sometimes play a rated course, click the button anyway, to ensure the Slope Rating system will operate Whenever it is available. If your course is rated, or the rating has changed, let me know and I will update GoforGOLF.
