This year THE OPEN returns to the HOME of GOLF, 

*** The St Andrews Links in Scotland - The Old Course.

It is known, that the return to St Andrews this year was as a result of
an invitation to Jack Niclaus to attend THE OPEN. Jack said he 
would like to play one more OPEN if it was at St Andrews. 

So they changed the schedule to accommodate Jack's wishes . . . Well Done
