There is not much more I can add to my last months comments, with all 'The Names' jostling for the front places in the lead up tournaments. I look forward to the battles that we about to see. I read they have extended some of the holes at Augusta with changes on 6 of the holes. Many tees being moved back 10 to 35 yards. There is a good coverage of the changes on the www.masters.org website. Look at the 'latest news' section. Will extending the course make any / sufficient difference. It seems all players are hitting further, and now with a couple of guys averaging well over 300 yards per drive, surely some other change is now required, such as to the ball, if 250 + par 3's and 700 + yard par 5's are not going to be necessary . . . Perhaps making it bigger . . . that would help me !!! Still I will be again in front of the TV when ever I can, "wishing I could be there' with my camera. Enjoy the Golf Greg Paul I do invite and encourage you to send me your views on my comments to email greg@goforgolf.com Greg Paul __________________________________________________________ *** FEBRUARY COMPETITION *** JACKPOT There was no winner for February, so the March prize JACKPOTS to TWO dozen golf balls. Include your email address . . . how else can we notify the winner. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into. __________________________________________________________ *** HandiTIPS 1. Advanced Analysis - Fairways Hit The Advanced Analysis has the facility to enter the fairways hit, and to enter the distance hit. To register a fairway hit, just click the box. It is usual to only record distance when your tee shots end up in the fairway. This will give you a percentage of fairways hit, and the longest and average distance hit. Note: GoforGOLF is designed to be flexible and suit your own requirements. You can tick the fairways hits, without the need to enter a distance. Your percentage will update while not effecting the average distance. 2. Is your course missing !!! If your home course / club is missing, JUST ADD IT. Click 'Add a Course' on the Menu, and follow the instructions. If You do not want to add it, send the scorecard(s) to me and I will add it. Then make the course your 'home course' and it will automatically load each time your Sign In. If you play another course, use the course finder to find that course. To add the other Tees, return to the 'Select a Course' page, select the course (it should still be showing), and click the 'Add Tee' button in the Yellow box. Tick the box to add a 'Ladies' tee. 3. WE REQUIRE YOUR HELP We rely on clubs and GoforGOLFers (yourselves), to let us know of any changes to your course and errors in the information we have on GoforGOLF.
