The Photos below are from the 2003 NZ Open held at the Auckland Golf Club, Middlemore, Auckland, New Zealand, January 2003.
We hope you enjoy them.

First Day - First NZ Open - Franz Scwhanner hits his first tee shot in the N Z Open as an Amateur, after many years of trying to qualify. I am a member of Franz's Golf Club, Manukau Golf Club, Auckland, and I am proud to show my support with these photos of one of our top performers.

My last shot of the 1st Day - The Par 3 7th, over the pond, viewed from the 6th green.

What a difference to last year. The tournament is casual, unassuming, like NZ Opens have been.

Get there if you can and enjoy getting close to the players and the course, see the shots, the putts, and a great golf course prepared to its best.

This is the best line up of top New Zealand players we have had the privilege to see in competition. Make sure you take advantage of it . . .

Great Day, Great Course
Gareth Paddison Eagles - I saw the eagle by Gareth, but wasn't fast enough with my camera to get the photo.

I did get the shot of him picking the ball out of the hole. GREAT GOLF SHOT !!

Bunker Shot - I have to get a bunker shot each day.

Today it was Wayne Grady of the Australian PGA in the notorious 'Pot Bunker' on the 17th.

My Daily Bunker Shot - Yoooo again . . . My daily bunker Shot. This time Marcus Norgren provides my bunker shot. Shortly followed by Eddie Barr. (I don't feel as if I have had a good day unless I get a good bunker shot - thanks guys)
